What type of makeup do you use?

We Primarily carry our prestige and clean skin care and cosmetic product line that we rep, Artistry Cosmetics. We also carry a variety of pro and prestige beauty products as well. Have an allergy? let us know.

Are you able to do a variety of skin tones?

Absolutely!! All of My makeup artists are professionally Trained and have a makeup kit that can be used on every skin tone. We take this very seriously and are very professional. We will never tell you to bring your own foundation (unless you have a specific allergy). We got you covered.

Are you able to cover blemishes / skin issues?

Raised skin and raised skin texture can still be noticeable with coverage. Makeup cannot make those go away. We can take out the redness and discoloration, but we cannot “flatten” or change the texture of the skin. If you have skin challenges we do offer skin care consultations and help curate a personalized skin care routine to help you take care of that need.

What does a typical makeup application look like?

the skin will be prepped for makeup by removing any excess dirt on the skin with a gommage facial, followed by a toner, treatment, eye serum and eye mask. Moisturizer and primer is applied according to your skin type. eye makeup will be done prior to the foundation to avoid eye shadow “fallout". Brows are filled in, followed by contour, bronzer, blush, and highlighter. lashes are then applied following a lip color. the look is completed with setting powder and finishing spray.

What does Travel Fee cover?

Driving time, gas expenses, Travel mileage, and maintenance following, Often when your artist needs to travel to your location for makeup, she carries her makeup kit as well as other equipment which aid them in the process of creating and perfecting their craft on you. These can include but not limited to tables, lighting, chair and more. Sometimes your artist can encounter location with stairs. She has to travel backwards and forth to ensure every equipment is brought to location.

Your artist accounts for the distance and the time it takes from our usual set location to the location you provide us. This makes us block off extra time in order to get to you on time and sometimes we can encounter commute - more time blocked off. The time blocked for travel is also blocked off for another client who may also be requiring makeup. This explains travel fees. The travel fee accounts for the time, distance it takes to get to you and the inability to take another client as the time is taken to travel.

What if there is a cancellation?

if a contract must be terminated due to a wedding day cancellation, the bridal client is responsible for 50% of the total cost of services booked for her date (which is the 50% non refundable retainer collected at booking) if cancelled more than 60 days prior to the service date. if a contract must be terminated due to a wedding day cancellation less than 60 days prior to the service date, the full balance is due and is non-refundable. if client fails to pay for services, a $25 per day late fee + 15% interest (or the maximum rate permitted by law, which is less) will be assessed for each day the balance has not been paid.
